Welcome to the web site of the Basic Police Training Centre. This is the only school for basic police training in the Republic of Serbia.
The Basic Police Training Centre has been establised in 2009.
In 2009, also the last generation of the Police High School students has graduated based on old curriculum. In this 2-year period, the Police High School and Basic Police Training Centre functioned simultaneously.
The Basic Police Training Centre trains male and female participants who have completed high school.
Aim of the basic police training is to ensure quality training of the uniformed police officers that would satisfy the needs of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia and the needs of the community, in accordance with the Law on Police.
Visit of IPA PolandAs part of the visit to the IPA Region in Novi Sad, a four-member delegation of the IPA Section Poland, IPA Region Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, visited the Basic Police Training Centre in Sremska Kamenica on October 25, 2019.
Memorandum of Understanding with Szeged Police SchoolOn Friday, 28th June 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Basic Police Training Centre in Sremska Kamenica and the Law Enforcement School Szeged, Hungary. The Memorandum was signed by Police Colonel Želimir Mrdalj and Police Colonel Csaba Dr. Bardócz.
12th International Symposium in Oradea, RomaniaThe 12th International Symposium on "School failure in police education institutions - between assumption and acceptance", from 24 to 28 June 2019, at the "Avram Iancu" Training School for Border Police Agents in Oradea, Romania, was also attended by the delegation from the Police Training Centre, Serbia.

At the Basic Police Training Centre in Sremska Kamenica, training of trainees of the 19th and 20th generation is currently underway, following the Basic Police Training Contest published in June 2018.
