Privacy statement for the Basic Police Training Centre website
The website of the Basic Police Training Centre of the Ministry of Interior (hereinafter: BPTC website) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you provide to us. We would like to introduce you to the following principles governing our privacy policy.
Personal data protection policy
Protection of personal data is guaranteed. The collection, holding, processing and use of personal data are carried out in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 87/2018). Personal data will not be used outside the purpose for which it was collected, except for the purposes of conducting criminal proceedings or protecting the security of the Republic of Serbia, in the manner provided by law. All necessary data protection measures have been taken, in accordance with established standards and procedures, which are necessary to protect data from loss, destruction, unauthorized access, change, disclosure and any other misuse.
The collected information is not made available for inspection, nor is it exchanged with other organizations that are outside the system of preparation and editing of the BPTC website, except in cases provided for by law. The data will not be used for purposes that are not in accordance with the law or in any other way that could be harmful to you, including violating your privacy.
The person has the right to revoke the consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
Data we collect
When sending messages via the contact form, the following data are entered and stored as mandatory: personal name (name and surname of the user), e-mail address of the user and contact telephone number. The purpose of processing the above data is the possibility of responding to users who have filled out the contact form.
When signing up for the mailing list of addresses to which notifications from the BPTC website are sent, the user’s e-mail address is entered and saved as mandatory data.
We also collect data about the use of the BPTC website (cookies) and other non-personal technical data that allow us to make your visits to the BPTC website easier and more efficient by providing you with user-friendly access and recognizing you when you return to the BPTC website.
A cookie is a small data file that is transferred from the BPTC website to your computer’s hard drive. The BPTC website sends a cookie when you visit it, request or personalize data, or register for certain services.
