 – I am impressed with what I have seen here! I have been in Serbia for three months and I can say that your police and police training are extremely professional – said the new director of ICITAP office within the USA embassy in Belgrade Mr. Douglas Madden addressing the trainees of the 11th generation while he was visiting the Centre in Sremska Kamenica for the first time, on 5th June, 2014 – It is very important to get the job immediately after the training. I was in your position a long time ago, and if I could choose again, I would come here.

Mr. Dušan Mihajlović, in charge of bilateral cooperation with the USA, also visited the Centre on behalf of the MoI Bureau for International Cooperation and EU integrations. The guests had the opportunity to see the school building, all the facilities for training, and several practical exercises.
– It is good that trainees change the roles – noticed Mr. Madden. – If someone is first in the role of a police officer, and then in the role of a citizen, he would be able to experience what it is like to be on both sides. Therefore he could treat the citizens much better.
Mr. Madden wanted to get familiar with the organisation, tasks, training and activities of the Directorate for Police Education, Professional Development, Specialised Training and Science. During the two meetings – with acting head of the Directorate, MA Božidar Otašević and the head of the Centre, Biljana Puškar, he discussed the possibilities of future cooperation.
